Exteriors & Renovation

I received 7 different quotes to have vinyl siding installed on my 3-story house and separate 2000 sf shop. Exteriors & Renovation was prompt, courteous and came in very reasonably priced. They were not the cheapest (which is not always the best deal) and they were certainly not the most expensive. The siding they offer is good quality and has a decent warranty and reviews. The estimates were detailed and broken down between the two buildings. The project was supposed to start late July but some materials took longer to ship so it started mid-August. A crew of 8 showed up and had the original siding (cedar clapboard) on the house removed in 2 days! I was not surprised they found significant rot on the front side of the house under the original siding. Manny, the owner, communicated with me throughout the whole process, including pictures, and his crew fixed everything (removed the rot, installed new plywood, etc). They even took the back boards off the deck and put in flashing that was not done properly when the deck was originally built (not by E&R). The additional cost was reasonable and I now have peace of mind it is fixed properly. Every day the crew (who were very polite) would clean up any mess and put their things away. The house was done by mid-September and the shop was done by late October. I had four items for them to follow up on and it was done immediately - no haggling or nonsense - and the total cost did not change other than the rot repair. It looks ~amazing~ and I am so happy with the end result. I’ll attach before and after pictures so you can appreciate the transformation (obviously yucky brown is original, blue is new). Manny and the crew were great, they did excellent work (above and beyond) and I would highly recommend E&R for any vinyl siding or renovation job. I’ll definitely have them back for future projects.

We are completely happy with a combination shingle and standing seam installation on my home in Plattsburgh NY. The work was performed as agreed to in scope of work and timing. The workers were very courteous and worked hard completing the entire project in 4.5 days. I highly recommend this company.

We had a great overall experience with Exteriors and Renovations. Our roof is well done and looks great. Manny was one of the few contractors to respond when we had a weekend emergency with our roof ahead of serious thunderstorms. Ultimately someone else helped us, but Manny followed up to make sure we had a plan in place. We then decided to replace the roof and took multiple bids. Manny's thorough explanations and patience gave us confidence in the process and the price was right in the middle of our expectations. Still, it's a roof and what matters is who shows up to do the job. The crew were reliable and astoundingly hard working. Unlike a lot of experiences we've had, they remembered and applied our requests as they got the work done (try not to walk here, etc). Also for a roofing job they did a really good job cleaning up each day and at the end. This review is being written a couple months after the job and I'm literally now realizing we've only found maybe three pieces of debris from the job (screws / metal clippings). Remarkable.

Manny and his team did an amazing job on my roof. I am so grateful for their hard work and dedication to the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great workmanship, fair pricing and an overall good experience.
