I noticed a leak in our attic and called Resnick on a recommendation from a neighbor who had a great experience. Kevin came out the next day to assess and to go over our options. We ended up having to do a total roof replacement, which we had expected. Throughout the process, the communication was excellent. I was given text and email updates on when they would start work and constant information on what to expect. The project manager, Norman texted with daily picture updates and spoke to me each day to update on progress. The crew worked from early morning to sundown to finish the project and it came out great. The roof looks amazing and the yard is spotless. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Our experience with Resnick Roofing was frustrating and confusing, largely due to poor communication and project management. The overall project timeline was as follows: the siding contract was signed in early April 2025. Materials were delayed, so construction did not begin until mid-July. Progress was further slowed because insufficient materials had been ordered by Resnick, pushing completion into mid-September. The final walkthrough occurred in mid-November, and the remaining punch-list items were completed in early January 2026. Communication was somehow both excessive and insufficient at the same time. Throughout the project, I received system-generated text messages from a wide variety of people, alerting me to erroneous project overruns, workers who were supposedly arriving at my house but never did, and multiple suggested start dates that never materialized. At other times, I went weeks or even months without hearing anything, and my questions often went unanswered until I followed up repeatedly. There didn’t seem to be a single project manager or point of contact. For example, scheduling the final inspection and subsequent fixes involved ten plus text messages sent at wildly inconsistent intervals—sometimes daily, sometimes weeks apart. Dates were proposed, missed, and then allowed to pass with no communication whatsoever, only to be followed up on later without explanation. This was especially surprising given the overwhelming number of positive reviews—our experience seems like bizarro-world compared to others. On a positive note, the subcontracted installation crew did a very good job overall, though there were some issues. One concern, in particular, stood out: I’m far from a builder, but relying on caulk to seal two different adjoining materials in a weather-exposed area seems destined to fail quickly. My understanding is that proper installation typically uses overlapping channels that allow for movement while maintaining long-term watertightness. Resnick took months to follow through on a final walkthrough, then sloppily rushed through fixes to close out the project. Honestly, the entire process just wore me out to the point of acceptance. In summary: if you want a generally competent subcontracted install crew that could benefit from additional training in weatherproofing mixed materials—but are also prepared to deal with confusing, inconsistent communication and hands-off project management from Resnick, effectively making you a part-time project manager—then Resnick Roofing may be the contractor for you.

Update: 11/18 Resnik reached out and began addressing our concerns. They have cleaned up the job site and placed the gutters on our house. They asked for weeks of flexibility to finish our job. We are eager for our job to be finished and hope they will be back on site soon to do so as our soffit and facia work remain incomplete. ————————————- I'm deeply disappointed with my experience at Resnik Roofing. I signed a contract in mid-July and provided a deposit, with an initial quote stating the job would begin within 4-8 weeks. Within 48 hours, they put a sign on my lawn advertising their services to my neighborhood. Despite near-perfect weather conditions, the project didn't start until 10 weeks later, only after I escalated my concerns through multiple calls. Midway through the work, a minor change order was needed—requiring just 3 hours of manual labor and amounting to less than 10% of the total cost. Instead of addressing it promptly, Resnik pulled the crew off the site, marked the job as "complete," and issued a final bill. This left my home without any gutters or downspouts (the old ones had been removed), with new materials scattered across my yard alongside piles of debris and garbage bags. To make matters worse, I was charged for a dumpster that was never provided. I just finished my basement and I am extremely concerned that no gutters and downspouts will result in water damage to the finished basement, not to mention other foundation issues with the cold weather season now upon us. When I contacted the project manager, Ashley, they insisted the original scope was finished and demanded full payment minus the change order amount. Shockingly, they then passed our project to a different project manager (the third one) the entire project on hold for another 4-8 weeks to handle this small addition—knowing from past delays it could stretch to 8-10 weeks. This has left my home unprotected from the elements, with unfinished work and clutter everywhere. Resnik, this handling of the project is unacceptable and unfair. It's not what I agreed to in our contract, and it has caused unnecessary hardship. I expected better professionalism and reliability from your team. I hear a lot of BS from your team about "We are going to use our in-house team vs subbing this out"... Honestly Resnik, I hired YOU.... I write the check to YOU... I don't care about your in-house or your out-house! Potential clients: Before you hire Resnik, like we did in mid-July, take a look at the pictures of my yard 3 months later and consider the fact that I was charged for a dumpster, and I am being told that its going to be another 4-8 weeks for this to be resolved.

My experience with Resnick Roofing was nothing short of amazing from start to finish. When I first contacted RR, they sent Kevin Synan amazing sales person who stayed with me until the finished project. After the estimate was completed, I received a phone call from the owner of the company, Adam, who called to see how my experience was going! He not only gave me his extension, but also his personal number. In today’s world, with the lack of customer service, support and just a personal touch, I don’t know many companies that do that! Then RR did a site survey to verify everything that Kevin and I discussed and talked to me about where they could deliver materials and the dumpster for removal. They didn’t just put things in my yard. They were meticulous even to with regards to damaging my yard. Materials were delivered on pallets and there were 2x6’s under the dumpster. I was told that I would be assigned a project manager who would oversee my project. My PM, Lazer was quick to let me know any issue they came across. I was hesitant to not be on site while the work was being performed on my home, but Lazer’s knowledge and professionalism put me at ease. My roof was not an easy one because I have a flat porch roof and a pitched roof, which required 2 different materials. The crew that RR assigned to my roof was magnifico! They worked, diligently from morning until late in the evening to complete my job. They calculated 2 days for my job but had to return a third day to complete. ON A SUNDAY! The crew went around my home, twice, with a magnet and picking up anything that fell off the roof when they finished. The roofing crew was top notch and seeing them work was like a symphony for the eyes. I cannot that everyone involved in my project enough. I am so thankful for Resnick Roofing for their incredible service. I even got them to do my mother’s house.

Resnick was at my home yesterday (June 4, 2025) to redo my roof. Very impressed by how quickly the guys completed my roof. Start to finish was about 4.5 hours (I have a 2 story 1000sq ft home with two covered porches). They did a great job on clean up when they were finished too. Noah in sales did a great job explaining the packages offered, the benefits of the shingles, and additional ventilation. Ryan, the project manager kept me completely in the loop before, during, and even after completion of my roof. Feeling pretty good about going with Resnick and I'm already noticing my second floor is cooler than it would be on a hot day with the old roof! Updated June 30, 2025. Last week the area was covered by a heat dome with heat index reaching over 100⁰. My second story stayed comfortable! Last year it would have been absolutely unbearable. Couldn't be happier!
