Outstanding experience with Greenawalt for the roof replacement on our home! Great communication from the initial call to the completion of the new roof on our home! Ashlea and Mike were wonderful to work with. They kept us informed during the roof replacement with pictures and explained everything. The project date was set, kept and was completed as they told us. The replacement was completed on two very cold days this December. The work crew was great, meticulous with cleanup and very respectful to our property. The roof looks beautiful! No hidden fees and the final invoice reflects the original estimate. Thank you for a stress free project! I would HIGHLY recommend Greenawalt for your roofing needs!! They are very professional and care about their work and their customers!

I hired Greenawalt Roofing to replace a flat rubber roof and gutters on the second floor roof of my townhouse. Pros: - Communication: Greenawalt was on top of everything from the permits to final installation. I didn't have to chase after them. They promptly updated me on their progress on every step. - Affordability: Greenawalt's pricing was very competitive compared to several other companies in the area. They were very transparent about any additional costs incurred during the removal of the old rubber and install of the new. No surprises and no up-charge. I was very pleased the final invoice was close to the initial estimate. The team was also able to successfully reuse some of the roof vents, saving me a lot of money. -Quality: The new roof is 100% better than what was removed. The roof was restructured to properly direct water off the roof. the overall look of the new rubber looks very professional and clean. The new gutters and fascia look immaculate. Cons: Attention to detail: There were more than a few spots on the seams and corners that required attention after the inital installation. Most of the issues could be fixed with caulk with the exception of a 2x5 inch gap left exposed at the end of the gutter. I met with the inspector Greenawalt sent to follow up on the roof after the initial install and we went over the problem areas. I returned a few days later see the final work that was completed. The gap had been covered, however, there was still an exposed area large enough for mice and pests to enter. I ended up caulking the rest of the gap myself.

Had an excellent experience getting our new roof. Cory got us set up and Jess facilitated the install and followed up. Both were extremely helpful. Both texted about scheduling and answered all my questions which is so modern and helpful. The install crews (we had our gutters done as well) were both very efficient and our roof looks great!

Working with Greenawalt was extremely frustrating. Their crew was incredibly negligent, I received angry texts from my neighbors that their roofers were leaving tools, sharp metal, and walking all over their next door roof (our rowhouses are connected). They also left tons of debris everywhere, they "cleaned up" by leaf blowing rusty fasteners off the roof into our yard, I spent hours cleaning debris out of our garden, including multiple RAZOR BLADES where my toddler or dog could have stepped on them. Pictured is just the screws they left on the roof after they finished. They also did a sloppy install and had to come back twice to fix it, which took them 3 months to finish. They were not communicative and I had to contact them multiple times to get someone to resolve the inadequate work. They also removed our gutters one hour before a huge rainstorm at 5pm, and left it that way. Our basement flooded that night without the gutters. Just poor planning and project management throughout working with them. Although they eventually did patch the roof and resolve the issues, getting there was a painful process and they cut corners every step of the way. I'm an architect and I would not recommend this company

What a great experience on the shingle replacement for my house roof. Everyone I worked with at Greenawalt was knowledgeable and courteous. Kudos to Jeff and Olivia for all the planning and communication to make this happen quickly and without any issues. I was most impressed at how well everything was coordinated, from dumpster and supply delivery to installation and cleanup. So much care was given to protecting my house and landscaping, which I’m very thankful for. The install team had our roof done in two days, which was quite impressive for the size. Greenawalt did a great job and I’d hire them again without hesitation.
