We are repeat customers of Bachman’s, and once again, our experience has been outstanding. Jason provided a very detailed and professional roof inspection, clearly explaining each step of the process and answering all of our questions with patience and expertise. For a company that goes on and on about their customer service, I found it to be lacking a little. The salesman came out seemed like he had a good handle of what I needed done. However, when he wrote it up, he put down the wrong section. He included a section that didn't need any repair because it was never damaged. I called him Monday, a week before the work was to be done, to tell him that he had it down wrong on the estimate. He told me that he would let the project manager know, and if it was going to be more than the estimate he would let me know before doing the work. I thought it was handled. I come home and find that the damaged wall was still not repaired. They went ahead and installed a dryer vent from the inside where you could obviously see there was no plywood but hey nobody cares enough today... just maybe ask, Are we are we doing the right spot? Because this spot is damaged? Come to find out, the salesman is saying he has no idea what's wrong with the job. Then, he changes the story to well... I told her she would have to have a new estimate. And she said she didn't want that.. Seems like it's a common theme today.. no one is accountable and work can't seem to get done right the first time. And I was charged more for them to come out and actually fix the damaged wall that I originally wanted repaired. Because somehow the estimate, even though it looks like it's estimated to repair the proper area. Now, somehow isn't quite enough. It's fine, I don't mind paying. I'm not looking for free work. Hopefully their communication skills will be improved after this. I'm not sure why I would want something repaired that was never damaged. Along with insults on my intelligence from the project manager as if because I'm a woman I don't know how things work. I grew up on a farm. My brother's a builder. I understand how we build houses. The crew showed up on time, they were very polite, worked extremely hard, very competent. The job supervisor explained everything in great detail. The roof looks excellent and upon completion they left my property as clean if not cleaner than before. If I ever needed a roofer in the future I would use them again.
