Every contractor in the RoofVista Pro network passes a multi-step verification process before they can receive leads or submit bids on our platform.
Licensing Verification
We verify active state contractor licenses through official licensing board databases. Contractors must hold a valid roofing or general contractor license in every state where they operate. We re-verify licenses quarterly.
Insurance Requirements
All network contractors must carry general liability insurance (minimum $1M per occurrence) and workers' compensation insurance. We require certificates of insurance (COI) naming RoofVista as an additional insured and verify coverage is active before activation.
Reputation Screening
We review Google Business Profile ratings (minimum 4.0 stars with 10+ reviews), Better Business Bureau status, and complaint history. Contractors with unresolved complaints or patterns of negative reviews are not accepted.
Ongoing Monitoring
Network membership is not permanent. We monitor customer feedback, project completion rates, and response times. Contractors who fall below our quality thresholds are placed on probation or removed from the network.
