Attic Renovation--Vermont Renovation and Remodeling worked with my partner and I over the course of a year to design and build out our 1880s farmhouse. The project had many working parts including moving a set of terribly steep stairs and building a new stairwell in a different area of the home. We were hoping to renovate the original and unused attic space of our home and add a bedroom and bathroom. VTR&R offered several designs and worked with us to plan for our current and future needs. At the end of the project, we have finished with more than we could have imagined! Their staff offered creative solutions to small areas (built in bookshelf to hide old stairwell entry), they were committed to refinishing and saving the original hardwood floors, and added touches original to the old home that makes the house feel authentic and fresh. In home, their staff and contractors are vetted and great to work with. Since we often work from home, working hours often overlapped and there was always communication and warnings for any changes or requests to keep the renovation moving without disruption to us and the job timeline. During very few hiccups for such a large project, Bill was sure to communicate options and be proactive with solutions. We highly recommend VTR&R and will use this company again in the future whenever our home needs works beyond our own capabilities. Thanks again for the unique touches and the great experience!

We recently worked with Vermont Renovation and Remodeling to remove a load bearing wall and open up the kitchen in our 1950s ranch home in Essex Junction. Bill and team were excellent to work with and did an outstanding job. The team was extremely neat in cleaning up the work area every day. From the beginning we felt very comfortable in trusting our project to VT Renovation and Remodeling and we are glad we made the choice to work with them. I worked with the good people at Vermont Renovation and Remodeling for a complete kitchen remodel at my Burlington, Vermont home. I cannot speak highly enough of them and the quality of their work. Bill, Erik, and the team helped me design the kitchen, identify what I needed to do to realize my vision, were patient when I had trouble making a decision, and got the project done on time and within budget. Their commitment to my project was obvious and greatly appreciated. My kitchen turned out better than I could have imagined. I definitely intend to work with them again on a complete bathroom remodel.

I just moved to an older house that needed renovation and maintenance. Being that I was new to the area, I had to rely on user reviews to find a company for the projects. Based on the high-ranking reviews, I decided to go with Vermont Renovation and Remodeling. The other reviews proved accurate! Bill couldn't have been more efficient, friendly and professional. His rates were reasonable and I really appreciated his timely communication regarding project updates and when he'd be at the house. I find it amazing he knows how to do everything including replacing an old AC unit built into the all-wood wall with a new window (and it's so helpful he's got the business contacts such as a window supplier.) He's even going to cut out a matching window on the other side of the big picture window so I have even more views of the osprey nest nearby. I can't wait! I was worried about putting more holes in my house but I couldn't be happier with how they look and work. We had to wait for the window supplier to provide the windows but...then Bill was able to install them in one day! I will always go to Bill first for any remodeling and renovation projects.
