Twin State Standing Seam Roofing

I'm not one to write negative reviews. However, my experience with Twin State roofing was so bad that I think it would be important for future customers to know what they're signing up for. Wally, the owner at Twin State Roofing demonstrated poor communication skills and a lack of integrity. Here's a timeline of what happened: The first meeting went smoothly, and we agreed on a two-phase project for two buildings on my property. The first phase was supposed to be completed within two months, and the second phase a couple of months after that. Instead, it took over six months just to begin the first phase, and I was essentially ghosted on the second. I followed up with Wally every month, and each time he delayed the project another month. Eight months later, the second phase still hadn’t even been started. When he finally got back to me, he said the price had to increase due to material costs going up—but he refused to acknowledge that his own delays caused that problem. He became defensive and took no accountability. Even after that, he continued pushing the project off for another two months before I finally decided to move on and find another roofer. As for the portion of work that was completed, the quality seems acceptable for now, but only time will tell. Unfortunately, based on how unreliable and unprofessional this experience was, I don’t trust that they’ll stand behind their work if issues arise. To top it off, their crew left scraps of metal, trash, and cigarette butts scattered around my property. I would not recommend Twin State Roofing to anyone looking for a dependable or professional experience.

We were extremely happy! We had metal that had lifted on our roof. Wally came the day we called and repaired it. We highly recommend them!!

We could not ask for a better standing seam roof installation. They are a hard working team and do excellent work. The price was very fair and the roof looks great. It did take some time to get them there, but I understand it is difficult to schedule this work around weather, etc. I'd like to have them do a couple of out buildings next, and this time will schedule the work far in advance.

We were very happy with these guys doing our roof amidst the unpredictable time of the pandemic. The job was understandably delayed but their communication was great. The crew completed the roof in about 5 days and were very professional. Our roof looks great and I would certainly recommend their work.

Horrible experience from the get go, and our brand new roof these guys installed still leaks, a year later. The owner doesn't return calls or texts and evidently doesn't stand by his warranty and workmanship. I found multiple missing pieces at critical areas and exposed corners that hadn't been caulked.
