TC Backer Construction

TC Backer completed a 16 x 20 deck for us that included a full roof integrated with our house roof and did so with the utmost care. From beginning to end we worked with terrific folks who know how to communicate; they are experienced and have deep skills; they're focused on doing things right resulting in a quality product. Its all about the details in this sort of project. The ice shield, shingles, flashing, drip edges, soffits, and gutters were installed perfectly; the adjacent siding was reinstalled; and all these were seamed into our existing roofs (in a corner) flawlessly. The result is that it looks as if it was always there - not added on. The deck joists were installed perfectly flat so there is absolutely no waviness or "give" in the Composite decking. The interior ceiling was installed beautifully, the decking went down just great, and the railing and stairs are solid and look terrific. We are totally satisfied with all the folks we worked with. They are highly skilled, confident, polite, diligent, punctual, and were very good at keeping us tuned in to what they were doing and why. We couldn't be happier with the finished product and we had a highly satisfactory experience. Thank you, TC Backer!

A truly terrible experience! When neighbors and family comment about the quality of work, you know it is bad—from poor communication, nails and screws left all over the property, to busting our corner siding pieces AND then coming back and asking if they can just patch it versus replace what they busted. Installing the wrong siding on a section of the house, being paid to install posts, and then throwing up corner pieces (see pictures), versus building out the beam like they had said. They had to come back various times to re-do things (see overhang of shingles, etc, in the one picture) and re-wrap the window and door due to poor quality. When I say it was rough, it was a month of constantly calling and having them redo stuff. The biggest complaint is that several times they would ask to "fix" things the cheap way. "Can we patch that? Can we just build out the front?" Wouldn't a company want to do it correctly and stand behind their work? I would not use this company again, and I would not recommend them!

TC Backer added siding to a wall that enclosed our carport. We are thrilled with how it turned out! Amanda was our first point of contact and helped schedule a quote. Austin came out to take measurements and get more information. He communicated everything up front and made the process easy from start to finish. The install team was quick and had it completed in one day. We definitely recommend and will use TC Backer for future projects!

From quote to install TC Backer offered a top notch experience. We had new gutters, soffit, fascia and windows wrapped. James was great about explaining the process and reviewing the work with my husband with lots of communication around the project. Howard was the project manager and he was always available and responded very quickly to any questions that we had. The installers were super polite and left the work site very clean at the end of each day. I highly recommended TC Backer.

If your looking for siding, look no further then TC Backer. When we first moved into the home, which was brand new we found some very small issues with the siding. This was on the fault of a sub contractor and not TC Backer. After speaking with my builder I was put in touch with Chris at the company. Within three days, Chris was at my house. Not only did he address and fix the small issues that I had seen, but he then went over the entire house and made sure that things I would have never seen were also fixed. No cost out of pocket, no questions asked. Well here I am a year later and a contractor who was doing my patios accidentally punched a hole in a piece of siding. I simply got a hold of Chris and explained the situation. Once again, without hesitation, Chris said not to worry about it and that he would have it take care of. If you think any other company will take care of damage caused by someone else by all Means please let me know because I just don’t think so. I highly recommend TC Backer and can’t thank chris and his employees enough for the impeccable work. Photos posted below.
