I highly recommend UPstate Home Improvement! They did an excellent job and was there when I needed them. Everyone was professional, reliable, and performed high quality work First of all, they not only answer the phone, but they also return calls, and show up when they say the will. Second, they provided a clear and easy to understand quote, that was also emailed to me. Third, the quote was reasonable and they worked with me when scheduling it. Finally, they did solid work and it was fast. I appreciate that there were no hidden fees, last minute charges, or pressured up-selling. Next time, I will call UPstate Home Improvement first!

Every time the wind blew, I'd find another broken piece of shingle in the yard. Often, it would be a whole shingle. It was time for a total roof replacement. A few years ago, Val came and patched a couple of spots and we knew then it wouldn't last. Val was across the street doing an estimate for a neighbor. We talked. Our insurance company came out and we discussed the existing wind damage. Three weeks later there was a truck unloading supplies in the yard. A few days later a van pulled up stacked high with ladders. I was leaving for work and a couple of hours later my wife called to let me know Val's crew had most of the old roofing off and was starting to replace some of the rotting decking. 13 hours after they started the last truck pulled out of the yard. Over 2000 square feet of roofing, decking, rebuilding the rafters and facia on the front porch flashed the chimney and the only sign they had been there was the marks from the pallets in the side yard. Did I mention my house has seven gables? The quality of the work is unequivocally superior in every regard. It starts with Val's integrity and his pride of workmanship. His crew, said my wife, was like watching a carefully orchestrated ballet. No wasted movements; each step leading to the next. Debris was removed as fast as it was created. I can't begin to say enough positives about the entire experience. I won't live long enough to have Val do another roof for me, but I can tell everyone who needs one: Upstate Home Improvements is the only call you need to make.

Wow! I can't say enough great things about Val and his crew! We had a front porch, back trex deck, siding, front doors x 4, and ridge roof vent put on. These guys were amazing. Val responds very quickly to any questions and is true to his word. They are also reasonable priced, which was an added bonus. I will work with Upstate for all home improvement needs! Best home improvement experience to date!

Upstate Home Improvements gave us an estimate to build a deck on our property. They were very professional, reasonable and answered any questions we had. The owner, Val, was personable and got back to us quickly. We had the deck built by his team and everything went smoothly, on time and to our specifications. We couldn’t be happier with our deck and the workmanship of his team.

Our experience with Upstate Home Improvements was all that we expected, and more. We had three estimates for our siding, but felt the most comfortable with UHI after meeting and speaking with Val. He was a joy to work with and was quite accommodating. The guys that installed the siding were meticulous, polite, and hard working. They worked through the heat and were still going at it at 7pm. We are beyond happy with our "new" home. I would recommend Upstate without hesitation!
