Getting a new roof usually sounds about as fun as a root canal but these guys made it a breeze! From the estimate to the final shingle, they kept me in the loop like I was the project manager (without the stress or the clipboard). Even when I pulled a last-minute “plot twist” and asked for a convertible roof these guys knew i was joking. Awesome crew, would recommend to family, friends, and even that one neighbor who keeps borrowing my ladder. 10/10!

Montclair Roofing did a fabulous job completing the entire roof and garage in 1 day. Left the job sight clean. Was very Happy Ed explained why OC products are far superior to GAF products and after researching for myself, glad I listened to his advice. Also used Edison Masonry to tear off the Chimney and install new brick and flue pipe.Will Highly Recommend Montclair to anybody in need of Roofing. Thank You for doing an Exceptional Job.

Getting the service from Montclair Roofing feels like your neighbor/family helping you but with a top-notch, world-class professionalism and quality. After interviewing a couple companies, my heart was set with Montclair Roofing. Ed helped me think through the specific of my situation without trying to force me to sell their service. In fact, he was the only one telling me, last year, that I didn't have to rush to replace my roof as it was not an emergency. And even this time around, he helped me make a plan that is suitable for my house needs. On the day of, Zack, the on-site manager, was extremely helpful and attentive. The crew worked hard and got everything done in one day, leaving my property without a single trash. They went above and beyond, and I am thankful for their excellent work and service!

We recently had our roof replaced on our house and 2 sheds as well as a skylight. From start to finish we could not be happier with every interaction with the company. Ed, the salesman was so personable and professional. He showed up when he said he would and did not try to sell us anything more than we wanted, in fact we added on the 2 sheds on our property to redo as well. He explained everything so well, was patient with my questions and was very helpful. The crew showed up the day we had scheduled and worked through the entire day until it was dark. I did not think they were going to get everything done in just one day but they surprised me and did. They worked really hard! They even did a great job with clean up and were all so courteous. I would highly recommend them without any hesitation.

We had a roof leak at our home and reached out to Montclair Roofing and Contracting. Short version of this review is we are very happy with the quality of job they did and the price was more than fair. The long version is Ed came out to our house, inspected the roof with a drone and went up in the attic and did a thorough review of our inspection. He gave an honest assessment of our roof and promptly gave us a very fair estimate to do a full replacement. Additionally we were interested in improving the insulation of our attic. Ed and Joe came back out to look at our attic and again provided a fair estimate to include that service in the job. Ed was very communicative throughout the process and took the time to explain what we were paying for. We set up a date and time. Joe and his team were here on time and did the entire job in one day. They were very careful during the job, respectful of our space to the extent they reasonably could be, and were incredibly thorough about cleaning up and putting everything back the way it was when they got there. Joe was on site during the roof replacement and for the attic work ensuring everything was done to his expectations. We are very happy we went with Montclair Roofing and Contracting. They were one of two estimates we received. Both were from Owens Corning preferred contractors. Ed's estimate was very fair. Additionally he made me feel very comfortable hiring them based on his knowledge of roofs, his assessment of our roof, and lastly his professionalism. I never felt like I was getting ripped off but instead I felt like Ed and Joe were genuine in doing the right thing by us throughout the project. If we decide to replace our siding I wont hesitate to reach out to Ed and Joe. Otherwise I feel confident I wont need to reach out to them about our roof for at least 25 years.
