What an absolute PLEASURE this company was to work with!!! I consider myself to be relatively difficult to please. My expectations are usually not met, and virtually never exceeded. James and Whitney exceeded them in every way! It started with two lengthy home visits by sales representative Cory Little. Prior to the first visit, he obtained drone footage of our roof so we could see exactly what he was talking about. He was honest, thorough, and exceptionally courteous. He had multiple proposals prepared and explained them all until we were satisfied on our decision. He showed me a photo of who our project manager would be and gave me the manager’s contact information, while letting me know I could reach out to him at any time as well. Enter project manager, Daniel King. Daniel telephoned me to explain how the days of installation would transpire. He was here at 7am as promised to open the job. He was in communication with me throughout the job. He even took the initiative in moving our personal vehicles around as I was responsible for remaining inside with my elderly father who has advanced dementia. His roofing crew was TOP NOTCH. No holds barred, the hardest working crew I have ever watched. Knowing that dad was deeply disturbed by the noises, they finished a two day job in 10 hours! They were roofing in winter, after dark, with headlamps. I gave the crew access to an over the garage apartment to warm up and have coffee. When the crew left, I was expecting to have to mop, wash dishes, and clean a bathroom. NOPE. They left it as tidy as they found it!! Construction workers. I could no more strongly recommend this company!

I contacted James and Whitney for a quote to repair a roof in October 2025. The person who responded, Ian Frye, visited the property and said I’d be better off with a new roof. I said fine since I knew it was close to a re roof. We communicated via email, text and phone. He emailed me a country, I signed and returned. Luckily I did not provide a deposit. After that…ghosted me. I emailed, called and texted on status. Zero response. I gave him an opportunity to communicate before leaving a review. Still nothing. My last email requested a email response from him stating the contract was void as they didn’t follow through. Still nothing. Then winter arrives and I have a roof that hopefully will make it through winter as it was too late to contact another roofer. DO NOT believe the other glowing reviews. Poor business practice doesn’t even cover the complete lack of follow through and communication. I’m just grateful I hadn’t sent the deposit.

Siding keeps coming off. Not worth the money I paid. I have had roofing and siding done by this company. The roofing would be five stars. The siding is getting a 1 star because there was no communication that my work date changed. They sent the bill before the job was done. The dumpster and extra equipment was left in my yard for 5 days. Now the siding is coming off. Also I had to specifically ask them to fix the rot I saw that they were trying to cover. I can assume from that that if there was other rot it got covered. I had this done month ago. 5 times my siding has fallen off since installation.

I had James and Whitney Co do my roof, vinyl siding and upcoming new rain gutters. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Dane started the whole project by coming on sight and discussing what my goals were. He made suggestions and answered all my questions. I reached out to him several times before things got going and he was always there for me. The roofing project came first. The team arrived promptly at 7a.m. and removed the old shingles, put new ice and water shield and new shingles, then cleaned everything up and were gone by 11 a.m.! The next project was new vinyl siding. Cedar shakes were 30+ years old and long overdue for replacement. They started on a Monday and by Wednesday mid-day they were finished! The gutters are next. I had posted pics on social media and had a few folks ask if I got a new house! Many thanks to Dane and the project managers for the roofing and vinyl siding projects. Also to their hardworking, dedicated crews. I would highly recommend James and Whitney Co. if you are in need of exterior work.

We are extremely pleased we chose to go with James & Whitney for our siding project. We had several other businesses give us quotes and decided to go with James & Whitney. The salesman was knowledgeable and presented the company well. The project manager Heath and the whole crew did an amazing job with putting the siding on. They took the time to make sure it was done right and that it looks spectacular. We have had many people stop to tell us how great it looks and say they can see how well they did with the siding. Some of the communication could be improved, but as far as the work, workers, and quality, we highly recommend them.
